Experience
Having graduated from Cardiff University and Britannia Royal Navy College, Dartmouth,
I went on to lead small teams and units before undertaking roles that included Vessel Captaincy, Bomb Disposal and Diving Squadron Command, and the direction of professional training.
As well as leading specialist teams, I’ve worked alongside the Special Forces, within joint agency Counter Terrorism and managed the complexities of experimental research.
In 2012 I was awarded with the highest level military commendation by the British Armed Forces for my leadership
and support to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. And in 2008 I was commended for my leadership and contribution within experimental research and development, and support to the Canadian Special Forces.
Having led in a wide range of capacities, I’ve witnessed how coaching has enabled teams, groups and ships to beat the odds, overcome adversity and perform beyond expectation.
Compelled by the impact of coaching, I began a path in 2012 to become an ILM Certified Masters Level Coach and Mentor and later became an elected Fellow of the Institute of Leadership.
